Looking to develop their existing social media presence, The Children’s Society has commissioned a   social media strategy from We Are MC2, the new digital consultancy set up by former Age UK Digital Lead Alison McCormack.

Emma Callagher, Digital Marketing Manager at The Children’s Society, said “We’re really excited to be working with We Are MC2 to help realise our potential on social media and increase our reach.  Getting our approach to social media right will have a positive impact on the whole organisation – and, crucially, the children and young people we are here to support.”

Alison said: “This is a brilliant, very exciting project that I am really delighted to be working on.  The Children’s Society is taking a longer-term, strategic view of social media and how it can be utilised to really boost the organisation’s impact in improving the lives of children and young people.
